J. Robert
Dodson III is the President and CEO of Quantum Financial Group,
Inc., and the Managing Partner of Quantum/G&A. He is a former national
bank CEO and has over thirty years of experience in the banking industry.
Bob specializes in real estate advisory, litigation support, debt/equity
placement, merger and acquisition support, and distressed asset recovery.
Under Resolution
Assistance Contracts to the RTC, Mr. Dodson was assigned the top management
responsibility for 11 failed thrifts which comprised over $5 billion
in assets, over 500 employees, and over 150 subsidiaries. Some of the
largest, most complex institutions that the RTC seized during the S
& L crisis were assigned to him for management and resolution including
San Jacinto Savings and Commonwealth Federal. Bob was assigned a leadership
role in the consolidation of all of the receiverships under the supervision
of the RTC's Gulf Coast Consolidated Office into a single facility.
Bob was also assigned the comprehensive task of managing all of the
subsidiaries owned by all of the receiverships within the RTC's Gulf
Coast Consolidated Office. He formed and managed a specialized subsidiary
management unit of over 40 highly skilled people, including attorneys,
accountants, tax professionals and asset managers to control, recover
asset value and fully liquidate over 300 subsidiaries scattered throughout
the United States. These subsidiary operations included corporations,
public companies, partnerships and joint ventures.
Under contracts to the RTC and FDIC, he has served on high level 4-member
teams with a $100 million delegation of authority and been assigned
responsibility for the review, management, workout and resolution of
over $1.0 billion of complex assets. Additionally, he was assigned the
task of providing consolidated management of all litigation and bankruptcy
matters throughout the gulf coast region which assignment included over
1,000 cases.
Bob has a Bachelor
of Arts degree from Southern Methodist University. He is a graduate
of the University of Oklahoma Graduate School of Banking and is a Certified
Commercial Lender.
