In 1994, G&A
formed a joint venture with Quantum Financial Group, Inc., to pursue
consulting services to the regulators of financial institutions. The
joint venture has successfully obtained and performed extensive services
to the Resolution Trust Corporation and the Federal Deposit Insurance
Corporation. The joint venture has also done work for several law firms
representing the FDIC as expert witness and analysts on complex litigation
matters. Under contract to the FDIC, the joint venture was assigned
35 initiatives arising out of failed Savings & Loans comprising
over $385 million to resolve. These initiatives involved highly complex
relationships, politically sensitive issues, and large potential losses.
During its 5 years of service, the joint venture successfully resolved
every initiative assigned and its performance was consistently given
the highest evaluation rating of "Superior". Quantum/G&A
currently holds two nationwide contracts with the FDIC. Each of these
contracts was awarded in 2000 and have 3 - 5 year terms.
Resolution Assistance Contract:
Manage and supervise the entire closing function of insured institutions
declared insolvent.
Subsidiary Management Contract:
Manage and resolve subsidiaries which become owned by the FDIC by virtue
of its seizure of failed institutions. The joint venture has also served
as sub-contractor on numerous and varied government contracts involving
real estate and financial matters.
