Processing and Data Preparation and Processing Services (SIC# 7374)
G&A has assisted a number of clients with the selection and installation
of computer hardware and software. As an integral part of the implementation
process, we have often prepared information for input into the system
or have input the information ourselves. G&A is an authorized reseller
of MAS90, an integrated modular accounting package. We routinely sell
the software, provide installation and training, and assist clients
in various industries in the conversion process.
G&A provides bookkeeping services to dozens of clients. This work
regularly involves the gathering and preparation of information for
input into our accounting system. Completed input is often transmitted
via modem to one of our other offices or to the client location directly.
As a subcontractor to a large national CPA firm, G&A helped consolidate
loan servicing systems located at several receiverships scattered
throughout southeast Texas into one central location in Houston. Once
the systems were reinstalled, we provided data entry and other personnel
to operate the systems. Through another subcontract with that same
firm, we helped them to implement and update a system called Control
Totals Module (CTM). For over a year we provided 11 accountants and
data entry personnel to input and verify CTM information.
