From 1992 to 1996, G&A provided temporary personnel to the Resolution
Trust Corporation (RTC) and several of its contractors. We were responsible
for recruiting qualified candidates, issuing paychecks, providing
workers compensation insurance and various fringe benefits, processing
all terminations, and submitting detailed billings. In Houston we
staffed three significant projects with over sixty accountants, asset
managers, loan servicing personnel, and administrative personnel.
In Dallas we provided 14 people to perform similar duties for two
multi-billion failed thrifts. In southern California, we payrolled
over 200 temporaries at three separate S&L receiverships through a
joint venture called Jaynes Reitmeier + Grijalva (JR+G). At each of
these institutions, our temporaries staffed virtually all of the on-going
operations of the receiverships, including asset management, loan
administration, accounting, investor reporting, data processing, records
management, and even personnel. We also staffed several projects in
Atlanta, Georgia and at various receivership locations along the eastern
seaboard. As a result of our success providing temporary personnel
to the RTC, we created another company called G&A OUTSOURCING in
March 1995 to provide temporary placement, outsourcing, and staff
leasing services to the private sector.
