Management
Consulting Services (SIC# 8742)
G&A's core business is providing management consulting services
in four functional areas: business planning and finance, litigation
support, human resource management, and procurement. Business planning
and finance includes preparing strategic plans, packaging loans, conducting
due diligence on potential acquisitions, and structuring and brokering
financial transactions. Litigation support includes forensic accounting,
business valuation, damage calculations, and expert testimony. Human
resource management includes organizational analysis, policy and procedure
manual development, executive recruiting, and outsourcing. Procurement
involves identifying markets, and developing marketing plans, bid
packages, and cost control systems. We provide these types of management
consulting services to roughly one third of our private sector client
base every year. Through our Minority Business Development Centers,
we assist another 400-500 minority-owned businesses annually.
