Management
Services (SIC# 8741)
G&A, through its JR+G joint venture, has provided subsidiary management
services to the RTC in California under three separate contracts totaling
roughly $1.0 million. Under each of these contracts, we provided high
level management consultants to advise the RTC on a variety of issues,
including corporate governance, business valuation, sales strategies,
mortgage origination and servicing operations, insurance, personnel,
accounting, and litigation.
As a Partner with another firm prior to joining G&A, John Allen also
oversaw the day-to-day management of roughly 25 failed savings and
loans in southeast Texas. His firm was hired by the RTC to manage
these institutions from closing weekend to final dissolution. The
scope of work managed by Mr. Allen and his staff included asset management,
asset marketing, accounting, loan administration, data processing,
records management, and customer service.
